Samsung Contract Phones

This year (at least so far) has clearly belonged to the South Korean mobile phone and electronics giant. Samsung has been delivering truly big time with one biggie smartphone device after the other. The phone company has really ridden on the back of Android and seen only overwhelming success after still more success.

Samsung mobile phones have always been marvelled at for their exquisite design and conceptualisation and it would be stating the obvious to say that they have jelled exceedingly well with Android. Be it their slider and touchscreen phones or the extremely sleek and at the same time highly functional phone devices, it is very dfficult not to fall in love with Samsung phones.

Having not had an overwhelming success with is very own Bada operating system, Samsung abanddoned Symbian and almost solely went along with Android only. This move has paid in rich dividends. Now, there is heavey speculation in the market place that Samsung is on the verge of buying out the WebOS of Hewlett Packard (HP). Samsung wants to develop its very own operating software and platform based on which it can produce even better smarttphones in the future.

The huge success of the Samsung Galaxy S that sold well over a record 10 million units was qucikly followed b y the launch and the subsequent tremendous success of the next generation Samsung Galaxy S2. The Galaxy S2 has sold nearly five million units as per recent sales records.

It is also not just about Android phones with Samsung. You also have a few highly resourceful smart-phones that run on the Microsoft developed Windows Phone 7 OS as well. The Samsung Google Nexus One, Samsung Omnia 7 and the Samsung Focus are very good example of this.

It has now added its powerful presence to the tablet world as well. The Samsung Galaxy Tab is now very soon going to be having a bigger cousin in the Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Tab.

All in all, it is very safe to state that Samsung has more than made a name for itself in the mobile phone sector and is continuing to earn the appreciation of everyone concerned.
